Four days of fun, friendship in Fort Erie
From lumberjack shows to the midway, there’s lots to do at 2010 Friendship Festival
They are lumberjacks and they’re OK... . With all apologies to Michael Palin and the rest of the Monty Python’s Flying Circus crew, the lumberjacks are coming to this year’s Friendship Festival.
But there will be no song and dance as the Timberworks Lumberjacks square off in competitions in climbing, chopping, sawing and log rolling in the water for three shows daily.
Call it an Olympics of the forest.
The lumberjack competition is just one of many activities that will be a part of this year’s Friendship Festival, four days of music, fun and cross-border friendship.
